The Annual Old Timers Day celebrated in Estancia this past weekend was a success. The festivities began with the traditional parade down Main Street. Judging from all the candy my kids collected, it was a resounding success.
More fun took place at Lake Arthur Park, where the festivities continued. The band “Triple Shot,” crooned us with their county tunes while citizens socialized, competed in a car show, played horseshoes, and ate delicious BBQ.
Later in the evening, the band “Macadoo” took the reins and serenaded the crowd during the dance at the park. All in all, it was a success. We look forward to next year’s celebrations.
